October half term Morocco family adventure holiday trek Les Petits Caravaniers; £475 land only | KE Adventure

There is availability this October half term on KE Adventure’s Morocco family adventure holiday trek. The holiday includes a four day trek with a Berber crew and their camels and you will travel across high sand dunes to isolated villages and rock ridge viewpoints. This is a bi-lingual trip open to both English and French families on selected departures.

Highlights include camel trekking in the desert, sleeping under the stars, traditional camel caravan on the edge of the Sahara desert and sightseeing in Marrakech. The holiday has been designed with children in mind and includes 5 hours of leisurely walking stopping to look at fossils, rock art.

Accommodation is 2 nights hotel, 5 nights camping. All meals are included except 2 dinners and the maximum group size is 16. Suitable for children aged 6 and over.

This is a real Himalayan family trekking holiday designed for youngsters. Experience Kathmandu with its markets and temples, before taking a flight to Lukla to start the 3 day short trek to Namche Bazaar.  Spend a day exploring this Sherpa capital before embarking on 2 day short trek to the monastery village of Thyangboche. Enjoy magnificent mountain scenery, views of Mount Everest, visit pretty Sherpa villages and meet the Sherpa people.

There is full Sherpa support, a first-rate Nepalese tour guide and a good standard of lodge accommodation. The trek allows 6 days to reach the high point at 3860 metres which is the maximum altitude. The holiday consists of 4 night hotel in Kathmandu, 10 nights lodges, 8 days trekking, all meals are included. Suitable for children aged 10+ with its short trekking days.
